I direct the Southern Screenwriters Guild, a scriptwriting workshop group which meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month in Roswell, GA. We have two reads per meeting, reading shorts in their entirety and features over the course of three meetings. The meetings are free and provide a great opportunity to not only get coverage (feedback) on your script, but to network with others in the film industry as well.

I got back into writing screenplays in 2010 and have since written 3 features, a three-part sci-fi/fantasy mini-series and more than a dozen shorts, four of which I have produced and can be viewed on this site at the FILM tab.

I was trained as a journalist and bring that discipline to screenwriting, so whatever your story is , I can help you get it into the proper screenplay format and see it all the way through to a finished film.

A couple of years ago, we recorded videos of a few SSG members to get their take on some of the scripts they had heard read at the meetings. My science fiction feature screenplay "Quantum Soul" was one those scripts and here are screenwriter Laura Parker's comments about it.
